Allied Motion Technologies Inc. is a listed U.S. public company focused exclusively on serving the motion control market. Allied Motion has several globally located engineering and production companies designing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of motor and servo motion products for the commercial, industrial, and aerospace and defence markets. Heason Technology represents Allied Motion's Tulsa OK. based Emoteq Division which specialises in advanced servo motor and drive solutions including frameless BLDC torque motors.
Heason Technology works closely with Allied Motion/Emoteq, often specifying custom versions of its HT and Megaflux thin ring range of direct drive frameless motors for challenging applications that require very high torque to size ratio's and where space is at a premium.
The Megaflux range covers eight frame sizes and over forty models with diameter-to-length ratios from 150 mm x 30 mm to 760 mm x 123 mm, covering continuous stall torque from just 3 Nm to over 2000 Nm.
The Megaflux thin-ring motor can be supplied as a part of a complete system with commutation and positioning encoders, servo drives and motion controls. The motor is also available in a fully housed version and, through Heason’s motion systems design service, can also be assembled on customer supplied components or built into complete positioning actuator solutions.
